RFQ - Multi-Year Construction Services 2026
SCOPE:
The Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified, licensed, and experienced construction firms to provide general construction services on an as-needed basis for CMHA-owned and managed properties.
Selected firms may be required to perform, on an as-needed basis:
· Pre-construction services
· General new-build construction
· Renovation projects
· Site work and exterior improvements
· Any other construction service deemed necessary to the agency

Canal's Edge - Renovations
Scope: This project includes exterior upgrades and mechanical upgrades to the 88 units within the property. Exterior upgrades include but are not limited to landscaping, siding, soffits, facia and gutters, roofing, a property backflow, and patching, sealing, and striping of the parking lot. Mechanical upgrades will include hot water tanks and HVAC systems based on existing conditions, as some of the units have been replaced recently.
Estimated Cost: $2,500,000

Demorest Townhomes - RFQ for CMAR
Scope: RFQ for CMAR for Demorest Townhomes Phase II consisting
of 102 units within 13 townhome style buildings and a clubhouse. The
exteriors will be a mix of vinyl and stone. The clubhouse will include
an outdoor amenity space, offices, restrooms, a community space with a
kitchenette, and a gym.
Preliminary Budget: $15,000,000
Pre-Submission Meeting: Monday September 22nd, 2025 at 10:00am.
RFQ Due date: Thursday October 16th, 2025 by 10:00am.
The Meadows - RAD Renovations
Scope: This project will be a renovation of the Meadows Property consisting of 95 units spread out over 23 buildings and 1 community building. It should be assumed that units will not be renovated in any specific order and may be required to jump back and forth between unit types and buildings. Scope includes but is not limited to; new flooring, painting of all walls and ceilings, new casework, new MEP systems, water conservation fixtures, energy saving light fixtures and bulbs, new appliances, and exterior improvements including unity entry doors, windows, siding, etc. Sitework includes mill and overlay, landscaping, misc. site improvements.
