Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Public Administration, or related field (MBA or other graduate degree, preferred); minimum of five (5) years of related experience and/or training, with three (3) or more of those years consisting of progressively responsible high level managerial or executive level experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

CMHA is seeking an Assistant Vice President for the Housing Choice Voucher program (Business and Administration). The Assistant Vice President – Business and Administration is responsible for ensuring that CMHA effectively and fully administers the HCV program, including providing guidance on when issuance of vouchers should be conducted and maintain governance on the expenditure of allocated HAP Subsidy, such that CMHA achieves High-Performer SEMAP status and maintains or increases its annual HAP Subsidy allocation. The AVP is also responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent relationship with area property owners and landlords to ensure ongoing and growing participation in the HCV program and the availability of units for CMHA’s applicants and participants.
